Students must be enrolled at the PLUS plan level to add eligible dependents, If you are enrolled in the Student BASIC plan and wish to enroll eligible dependents, you must elect the Student PLUS plan. After September 20, please refer to the After the Open Enrollment Period – Enrollment Guidelines section. The Open Enrollment Deadline for the 2022-2023 Plan Year is September 20, 2022*.

After you have registered for Fall 2022 semester, send your request for coverage in the 2022-2023 Plan Year (Augto August 14, 2023) to In your request, please specify if you wish to enroll at the Student BASIC or Student PLUS level and include your BU Id number.

Once the insurance charge has been reinstated, you may return to the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) page on the Student Link to choose a different plan level (if eligible)īU degree candidates registered for campus based courses, whose student account was not assessed for student health insurance (ex., students below seventy-five percent of full-time) may be eligible to enroll in SHIP during the Fall 2022 Open Enrollment period.

From the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) main page, select “Display Provider” to be redirected to Gallagher Student Health’s website.

To rescind your waiver and re-enroll in SHIP, please visit the Student Link prior to the open enrollment deadline, then select “Money Matters,” “Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)” and complete the following steps: Students who have been assessed $3,235 for the Student Basic plan or $4,323** for the Student Plus Plan on their Fall 2022 bill and who waived enrollment in SHIP for the 2022-2023 Plan Year may re-enroll during the Fall 2022 Open Enrollment period. The Fall 2022 open enrollment period ended September 20, 2022.* The cost for enrollment in the 2022-2023 Annual Plan is $3,235 for Student Basic and $4,323** for Student Plus.
